Adventures with Kiwi, IKEA, and Banana Bread

This week, we found out that Taylor cannot eat kiwi anymore. I cut up a bunch of kiwi, and shortly after we ate it, Taylor's throat started swelling. We just thought that the kiwi seeds got stuck in his throat, but then it got worse. His chest and upper back started hurting really bad so we drove to CVS to get some benedryl. (by the way, I probably won't go to CVS at night because I got asked for money by some guys outside of it haha) Just to be safe, we drove to the hospital, but Taylor did not want to go to the emergency room because he didn't want to pay for it (Typical Taylor haha). So, we just sat in the parking lot outside the emergency room and waited till his symptoms went away. After 35 min of waiting in the car, he was just fine and we were able to drive home.

On Friday, Taylor did not have to go to any more meetings, so we went to IKEA. We got a new coffee table, TV stand, night stands, and some pictures to hang above the couch. It was a good thing we had a list and stuck to it because it is so easy to justify buying everything in that store.

Today, Taylor decided he wanted to make banana bread. I wasn't sure if I could trust him because last time he baked something was the cake from a box. He forgot to add water, so it didn't turn out so well. But, I thought I should give him another chance ;) Turns out, the banana bread was delicious and very moist! Even better than the kind I make. From now on, I'm going to give him more credit when it comes to his baking skills.
