Babies!

Last week, our friends just had a baby girl named Madeline :-) We are so excited for them and loved visiting them and their new baby in the hospital. It made Taylor and I so much more excited for our little boy coming in July. Visiting the hospital and knowing that we will be there in less than 20 weeks made it so much more real. Taylor may be a little bit more nervous than I am but he's coming around.

I just can't get enough of young Madeline!

On Friday my co-workers were so kind and surprised me by throwing a baby shower for me! They did such a good job with keeping it from me and the decorations were so cute. They were all so sweet and all pitched in and got me a pack-and-play!

Today, Taylor and I went to visit my cousins, Emily and Russ, in Keller. They made us a delicious brunch and bought us a very soft blanket for baby Wilson. Emily was so kind in giving me some baby boy clothes, bibs, table chair, swaddler, and is letting us borrow their swing!

It's a BOY!!!

It's a boy!!! We are so excited! This entire time we both thought it would be a girl, so when we went in on Monday and found out it was a boy, we were shocked. My whole mindset has to change too! But we couldn't be happier, especially Taylor! Now he has a boy he can coach here in a few years. I am excited to raise a little boy. It will be a whole new experience growing up with 4 sisters. I just started feeling him move around recently, and Taylor really felt him kicking for the first time just the other night. We can tell he is going to be a really active little guy. We also already bought our first baby outfit, a cute take-home outfit for his first day out of the hospital.

20 weeks ... Baby from the front (top) and baby from behind (bottom)

Making the most out of our last weeks before parenthood ... at Torchy's Tacos!

Well, Taylor has found his true passion in life, and its coaching high school track and field! He loves it and has so much fun doing it, even though I miss him while he is at meets every Saturday (all day - they take forever!!). But his girls did awesome last weekend at the Gateway Invitational, where they finished in the top-3 in the 100m, 200m, 4x200m, 400m, mile, and 2-mile. Quite the day for the Sunset ladies track team! The season only has about a month left, so hopefully things keep going well.

This week it's been nice having Taylor on Spring Break because I get to come home to a freshly cooked meal and a clean house. For his first endeavor, Taylor cooked pesto pasta with green beans and homemade breadsticks. He is my lil' chef ;)
