April Update

Sorry it has been such a long time since we have posted! A lot has happened this past month. First of all we, moved into a new unit in our complex because it is newly renovated and has washer and dryer hookups, which will be very awesome when this little guy comes. I also had a fun doctor's appointment at 28 weeks. I had the glucose test, I got the Rogam shot because I am Rh negative blood type, and I got another sonogram. Our little guy had fluid on his kidneys when we had our anatomy scan at 20 weeks, and when we got this sonogram at 28 weeks, the fluid was gone! He is healthy and getting really big!
28 weeks

A weekend in April, Taylor's parents came to visit. As always, we had quite an enjoyable time! We hit Gregory's favorite burger place in Arlington, went to a Rangers game, and had an overall fun weekend. The next time we see either set of our parents, we will have a baby! It's just crazy to think about!

The Sunset track season ended in April, and even though I'm happy to because I get to see Taylor a bit more (although not a lot more since spring football just started) Taylor was a little bit sad to see it end. The girls finished on a high note, especially the JV group, which took second at district, the highest placing for a JV or Varsity Sunset track team ever in this district.

Yesterday, Taylor and I journeyed to Babies R Us to stock up on baby stuff. I had a lot of fun picking stuff out, but Taylor basically got an ulcer. Taylor got so worked up with spending money on all the baby stuff, that I had to take him to see Iron Man 3 to calm him down.

Today was my first ever Mother's Day as an (almost) mother. I figured it's okay to celebrate since I am almost 2 months away! Taylor was so sweet when he bought me some beautiful roses and doughnuts from my favorite doughnut shop :-)

Also for Mother's Day today, my dearest friend Karissa from Pittsburgh surprised me for a visit. Her and her husband were driving to Louisiana from Utah for a summer job and stopped by to visit us! We had a lot of fun with them and I can't believe how far we have both come since high school.
